Ergo was founded in 1994 by four researchers who got to know each other at  Motivaction, a Dutch research agency. Since then, Ergo has grown and many employees have come and gone. After the economic crisis of 2008 in 2012, three of the founders decided to continue in a slightly different direction. Back to basics: lean and mean with short communication lines to clients.

 

In practice, this means: working without an office but from home addresses and without permanent staff. Where the projects require it, we work together with other agencies and freelance researchers or IT specialists.

 

In the context of the tendering for research for the national government, Ergo has had a partnership with Ruigrok Netpanel since 2014.
